Hospice Patient
When a person dies at home who is a hospice patient, the family may call both the hospice nurse and Whigham Funeral Home, or wait for the hospice nurse to arrive at the home and then call us. The hospice nurse needs to pronounce the death of the patient. The Fire and Police Departments do not need to be called.
